I am delighted to announce another smartphone food photography workshop to start the beginning of the year. This smartphone food photography workshop will explore how to take great food photos using your smartphone with an emphasis on storytelling and composition.

It will be held in a small group and look at ways to tell a story using natural light . We will use food, flowers, ingredients as subjects to create simple scenes and look at composition, angles, natural light amongst other things.

We will chat, demonstrate and practice all of those cup of tea (or coffee) and biscuits in hand.

This workshop is not refundable but can be transferred to someone else if you can’t make it.

I will take you through the creative process from finding a concept, to the creation of a moodboard from which to draw inspiration to editing photographs. I am delighted to announce one more food photography workshop. This dark & moody food storytelling workshop will explore the many different facets of natural light.

It will be held in a very small group and look at ways to tell a story using natural light to create dramatically contrasted and moody photographs. It will be all about shadows, mood shots, coziness. We will use food, flowers, ingredients as subjects to create simple scenes.

We will touch on food photography basics so if you happen to be using your camera on Auto mode and want to learn how to use it on Manual, this is your chance to learn.

We will chat, demonstrate and practice all of those cup of tea (or coffee) and biscuits in hand.
